No, I'm not lost

Just wanted to reassure you all that I'm not lost, sick, kidnapped or dead. It's worse than that...well, not really. Our internet/phone connections are AWFUL right now. Just trying to get to this page to post this brief blog, I was disconnected at least a dozen times. Sooo...don't give up on me, I'll be back to blogging as soon as I can. Keep checking in and I'll try to keep you informed.

I've missed your posts. I figured it was probably an internet issue. I finally got my blog updated.

Joanne, I came here via World Mag blog, where I post as "mommy." I was touched by your response to the "If I had a million $" post the other day and am interested in supporting your work. Can you e-mail me with the particulars on how I could do that? I'm at linda.shaffer@us.sogeti.com

Hi Joanne! I think I met you at the Wolof consultation about 3 years ago. I was a missionary in Kebemer Senegal with M:MM. I have a little blond and a little redhead who would've been 10 months old when we attended and my little boys took a shine to you and Aduma. Do you remember? It was long ago...

Anyway, I heard from another M:MM ex that Ndey, Benjamin's wife, had recently gone home to Jesus. I am still so shocked. Was it Ndey you were blogging about in March? Do they know what she died from? How are benjamin and the two boys doing? I realise this is a huge loss for all the Gambia believers, and will lift you up as well as you grieve for Ndey.

We left Senegal because of health issues with one of our sons. I miss it everyday. Sometimes i want to be back there so much it hurts.

Keep pressing on.
